Hi I'm Dawn

First and foremost a wedding photographer, I have the greatest pleasure capturing my couples’ most striking, joyful and candid moments on their special day.

Based in and covering all of North Yorkshire and Teesside, I’m a real “country-girl” at heart, and take great care to photograph both the beauty of you as a couple and the surrounds you’ve chosen to host your event, which together, forms the most breath-taking images that you will cherish for life.

Perfectly ‘blend-into-the-background-able’, my priority is to make you both feel like royalty without you really knowing I’m there. Oh, and if you consider yourself ‘camera shy’, rest assured my complimentary pre-wedding shoot will give you a wonderful taste of what’s to come, whilst making you both truly comfortable.

Friendly, relaxed and always up for something unique, I also capture other special moments, such as new baby, family portrait and personal branding shoots, too.

Whether your preference is traditional, scenic and staged; fun, creative and candid, or a perfect blend of both, I can create the most atmospheric and charming photographs that capture your personality flawlessly.

If you’re unsure what you want, rest assured, during our initial meeting (which I offer at my home) I will show you examples and gently guide you both to help discover your style. (You might be pleasantly surprised what you like)

It really is a beautiful moment when you both see an image and say “that’s exactly what we want!” – it puts you both firmly at ease and you can really start to envisage how wonderful your day is going to be.

Whether you’d like the whole day captured, or just parts of it, you’ll be glad to know that I have my very talented and discreet second photographer with me, so every single moment is captured and preserved.

We both use top end professional Nikon equipment and are fully insured with full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Being part of your special day comes with great responsibility, and I will ensure to capture all of your magical moments, whilst liaising and working well with your other wedding suppliers.
